About Us
Monuments / Markers
To protect the beauty and integrity of the natural surroundings, grave markers of any kind are prohibited. Specific burial sites will be identified numerically by an aluminum ground level marker provided by Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A non-optional portion of the purchase price for Interment Rights (burial or cremated remains) or scattering of cremated remains, will be used to memorialize deceased persons by means of “Community Memorials” placed at the tree line edge of the Conservation Green Burial area.  “Community Memorials” will include the name of the deceased, year of birth, and the year of death.  Lot numbers on the “Community Memorials” will identify where bodies and cremated remains are buried.

Memorialization of a second interment on a space shall incur an additional cost.

Decorations / Tribute Plantings / Flowers
To protect the beauty and integrity of the natural surroundings, no inscriptions, statues, embellishments, effigies, artifacts, lights, wildlife feeders, wind chimes, flags, or artificial decorations of any kind will be allowed in the Conservation Green Burial Area.

Living plants of native vegetation may be donated in memory of a deceased loved one. All plants must be approved by the management of Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery and planted by cemetery personnel within the designated landscape design area.

Cut-flower funeral tributes that have been removed from their containers may be buried with the deceased.  All other funeral floral tributes may be taken home or they will be disposed of or recycled. Fresh-cut flower remembrance tributes may be placed on the grave at any time, and will be removed by Cemetery personnel upon becoming unsightly.

Non-compliance with this section will result in removal and disposal of violation without notice.
